The performance of the famous pianist Elizabeth Leonskaya, which was scheduled to take place on December 4 in the concert hall of the Dutch city of Eindhoven, has been canceled. This was announced on November 19 by the press service of the concert hall. “Circumstances leave us with no choice but to cancel the concert scheduled for December 4,” the article says. It is clarified that the reason for the cancellation was the pianist’s performance with a free concert for military personnel in Moscow, which was interpreted as Russia’s support in the conflict in Ukraine. Another reason was Leonskaya’s Russian origin, despite her Austrian citizenship.
